I’ve been writing books and articles, recording podcasts and webinars, and presenting live keynotes and other talks for many years. My Lee@Scale blog started in 2016 and focused on building highly scalable, high-availability web applications. I thank everyone who has read my articles and wrote to me to ask questions or make comments on the ideas and thoughts I’ve written about.
Now, however, it is time for a bit of a change. Rather than focusing on scalability and availability as I have in the past, I want to expand to focus on all aspects of building modern applications—and, more important—building modern organizations that can build and operate these applications.
So, welcome to my new column, Modern Applications / Modern Organizations. In this column, I plan to present articles about all aspects of building and operating modern applications, and how to develop and organize your modern organization to manage these applications effectively.
Stay tuned … and I hope you enjoy the new column.
